CRU's mission statement is:
"To share the love of Jesus and respond to his command to help the poor by raising the means and bringing relief and hope to those most in need in Uganda."
We seek to meet people’s basic daily needs, provide
them with an education and ensure that they have a chance
to hear the Christian message. When Christian Relief Uganda
was established in 1996, a constitution was agreed which set
out a small number of fairly wide ranging objectives and a Statement
of Faith, which provides the basis on which the Charity has,
and continues to, be developed.
CRU’s Objective One:
The relief of persons in the country of Uganda, in particular
but without limitation by -
+ The supply of transport and humanitarian aid
+ The relief of sickness
+ The relief of poverty amongst persons in conditions of
need, hardship or distress, in particular but not exclusively,
by providing or assisting in the provision of accommodation
+ The advancement of education.
CRU’s Objective Two:
The advancement of Christian religion
