Christian
Network Uganda was founded in November 2001, based on the
ideas and vision of Rhona Marshall, who is the original fund
raiser for Christian Relief Uganda.
Rhona was aware that there were many projects ongoing all
over Uganda, and she felt it important that there should be
some level of unity. So Christian Network Uganda was born.
The aim of the meetings, which are held annually, is to allow
anyone who has a project in Uganda a voice. It is a very informal
gathering on a chosen Saturday. People arrive around 10.00
am for registration, and to set up their stall.
Any one who wishes to speak has a 15 minute slot where they
can update the group on their projects progress. This is also
a platform for any requests both spiritual and secular. There
have been many incidents where two groups formally unknown
to each other have been in a position to give real and positive
support. As a direct result of these meetings many have been
prompted to join an organisation and visit Uganda. The whole
purpose of C.N.U., to be able to network and link like-minded
people together
It is truly amazing to see the work God is doing in Uganda
through his loyal servants.
Our next annual meeting will be held in May.
